So much for the James Bond Aston Martin was the biggest seller they ever had claim they wrote about earlier this year.

Remember to add the silver and gold editions together.

Lou, Corgi Club once said the sales figures were lost in a fire so I'm glad they were found.

The matte Batmobile will have a reproduction of the best Corgi Batmobile ad. I have the original ad and they're fairly easy to find.

Lou-
You fell for this the last time, as far as I can tell the cars come from the UK and then go through Hornby or Hornsby and then they ship to us. But here's hoping yours show up Thursday.

Glad to get the Corgi '66 Batmobile reissue (glossy version). It's quite nice and faithful to the original. I have two originals from my childhood (very much played with), along with the BatBoat (that used to go into the tub with me!). I don't particularly feel a need to get the matte version, but haven't ruled it out.

I would have rather a red-wheel variant to the Matt version-- I don't think I even knew that was a thing-- but I'm loving what Corgi is doing. Tracking them is way too complicated for me, so I'll just be surprised when they show up.

Since I have no original to reference, I'm left wondering if the packaging matches the original? It looks kinda unsaturated and slightly blurry. Love all the paper instructions and stickers! My antenna goes the right direction. Robin had come out but went right back. Were they loose in the original?

I haven't done this yet but I could possibly 3D print some rockets for the collectors like me that don't want to break them open. Drop me a line and let me know if you want them.
Upon unboxing, Robin was loose (out of the car) in my glossy '66 Batmobile reissue, but went right back into his seat. Batman was in place and I couldn't get him out of his seat, but didn't force it. In the originals that I had as a child, Robin was frequently coming out of his seat while playing with it. Batman, in the originals, came out, too, but stayed in his seat probably due to the restraining steering wheel. By some miracle, I never lost the figures. I believe that I lost all of the red missles in my originals.

Don’t force Batman out, you’ll crack the windscreen!

Packaging for Matte and Gloss is the same.
