Sign me up for team both and team all for Batman too. I love the way woman looked in that time.

💯 You sound just like my friend, Paul, and I when we’re talking about that time period, Randy.

It just isn’t the same, anymore.

Everyone at the party thought the Kona tiki statue was wood and were surprised by how lightweight it was compared to what they expected. They were very impressed! It was a hit!

By the way, Randy, the “wood grain” detail you added to the top of the tiki statue looks fantastic, giving it an extra dimension of realism. It didn’t go unnoticed.

Ha! I'm glad it all went well. Your pictures look great.

The wood grain look on the top was a nice effect that I really didn't have to do much to achieve. On normal prints the curved areas of an object are the hardest parts to print out smoothly. I typically try to add a smoothing effect to those areas where the printer slows down and does more detail. This model, I basically left it alone during the sculpt and the print and the topographic map looking masses just happened naturally.

The wood print look actually made it much easier to pull off, but thanks!

Amazing! It looks like a natural wood grain, and I was even bragging about your attention to detail to add that! 😆

But, your attention to the detail deserved to be bragged about, anyway. 😁

Thanks, again!
