Batman 1966 To Air On Svengoolie In '14!

Ha! I wrote Svengoolie on his Facebook page to thank him for putting up the first Flash Gordon serial on his show about two weeks ago, and I asked him to put on MORE serials, or even the 1966 Batman movie! He responded, saying the movie would be on his show next year!

Just wanted to share the good news!

Cool! Unfortunately, I'll bet they cut chunks out of the movie again like they did last year Admittedly at the time it aired last year I didn't know chunks were missing because I hadn't seen the movie since the mid-70s, but I've since found it in the $5 bin at Walmart, so now I've seen the whole thing. Fun times

Thanks, John! I never saw that before. I wonder if this is going to be a repeat of the earlier show, or is Svengoolie going to do new jokes and such?
