Well the Title. Yes this is a true happening this year Batgirl Cycle will be getting reborn from scratch from pictures and info got from them only bit I don't have is how the lace was fitted, and guess the fairing mounting points and sort the rear wing out and guess what they used to make the fly screen rim
I have the rare beast which is very rare to see or find in the UK
The bike runs which is very good and one step from UK Legal and reg plate
Down side it's been unloved, make do repairs and by the looks it's been down on it's left side, broken knobs, handlebars need changing, headlamp plus more odd bits I will find. Once the restoration starts after the fairings are made which will be tricky with some many curves
So here she is unloved Barbara as I name all my bikes
And I'm Nicola a UK Biker & Classic Bike lover Esp to the 2 heroes that got me in to riding and there bikes I hope to do both
With the Build I want to keep it to original spec apart from the Silly Mirror unless some one can send me a proper size so I can get it cut and glue a bolt to it as they did
So am I Jeremy But stressed a bit for getting the fairing right as there is so many curves and rear end has popped up with a issue as that it goes under the seat
Ben I'm from Bristol but love to get it to the Ace Cafe
Only sad bit there is nowhere good to get good pictures and no uk batgirl
"It was torn down and turned into a street bike after the show. E. Jeffries was the company that customized a Yamaha 180 into the Batcycle. After the show, they didn't need it anymore. No one knew in those days that memorabilia would be important."
So did it go back to the Dealer ? or did some one take it or is it hidden in a corner of a old prop store
