A message for the owners of the website!

Post by artbat123 »

Hello Batfans!

I have a situation. I have two old cassette tapes with rare batman material on them and I don't have the funds to transfer them to the website. The first cassette from 1989 has American top forty history of batman music segment, two copies of the TV show version of Price's Batdance an incomplete one and a more complete one, and a rare message from Adam West, Burt Ward, and Yvonne Craig on drivers safety along with over 70% of themes and audio from the show. The second tape is the audio from the local news of Adam West at the World of Wheels auto show from January 11 1985 in Boston, MA and Adam West being interviewed on WBZ Boston radio with Tom Bergeron that night who was a radio dj in Boston then that's about 30 to 40 minutes. I am not selling these. What I want to do is give them to either the owners of the website or whoever has the technology to transfer the rare audio to this website. I don't want the tapes back because I enjoyed them and my goal is to transfer the tracks to the website so all the batfans can here them. Who ever takes on the tasks I would like them to send a copy of the radio interview to Adam West at his P.O. Box in Idaho. I don't think he even has a copy of it. I looked online for a copy of the TV show of the Batdance and I can't find it anywhere. I even tried to look up the interview I have online and nobody has it. Like I said if the owners of the website take the cassettes and pay for the technology to put them on the website for everyone to hear. I won't have the funds to ship them out till July 1, and I need the address on where to send the cassettes to. If you guys can set it up so you can download the Batdance track the audio interview onto an mp3 player through the website that would be the ultimate goal for me. As a Batman TV fan for over forty years I know how frustrating it is that there is stuff out there and you can't have access to it. I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Sounds like you have some interesting material there.
I would add that, while he was alive, Prince was very protective of his copyrights. That is almost certainly the reason you haven't located that version of Batdance anywhere on the Internet.
