It's a shame to hear that not even one of the three will be making it to market.

Having said that, barring the Adam (which I definitely dug), the Julie and the Eartha were eye-wateringly priced for likenesses that missed the mark so badly, especially given that a lot of people would have still gone on to spend further on customizing them into Catwomen, purely because the manufacturer didn't want to shell out for the character licensing. With no offence intended to pals of ours who were in involved in the Misadventures of Adam West comic book run, but a line of figures at the "Hot Toys" end of the price bracket (outside of simply Adam) is a tough sell off the back of a book that didn't do amazingly well in it's own right. For the record, the issues I have read so far, I enjoyed on level or another.

Ok guys, not that I suppose it matters any longer, but of which figures are you speaking? You have me wondering here.

They were Executive Replicas figures, put out by GoHero. The Adam and Julie prototypes I saw in person looked MUCH better than the photos did. I'm going to email Steve to see if he has any of those available. They are great to work with-- I had a Doc Savage figure from them months before they hit the shores.

As for the Comic Book, Misadventures of Adam West, and the Julie and Eartha titles were all put out by Bluewater Comics-- and they were indeed hit or miss. Having worked on one of the Adam issues I can tell you it wasn't easy. I had to follow a plot that I really would have never used and in my issue (8?) I tried to inject some of Adam in there instead of just having him be a generic action hero. The deadline was extremely tight and the pay was ridiculously low. They offered to let me continue on it but I would have to hold a sign on the street advertising Adam West Comics for Food if I did.
