After watching Scott's video elsewhere on the board, I began to reminisce about years past and all the fun and good times that have been had here with these crazy bat fans. Me, being a graphic designer (sorta) and having way too much free time (no longer the case), would put together all sorts of "retro" vignettes using the photos Scott would post about his earlier adventures. Much of the "greatest hits" of this work you'll find in my section of the
"member artwork" section of this site. There are some items not found there that I wanted to share. Some fun, some silly, some dreams of what we were hoping for (and now mostly have). I hope you derive even just a smidgen of the enjoyment we have had here over the years. To the Bat-Gallery!
The Bat Cap - my answer to all the ludicrous modern-day Batman apparel.
Of course, you can't wear a stylin' cap like that without having some tunes to listen to, right?
A quick logo redraw I did on a whim for our Bat-pal, Wally Wingert
An ad-mockup I did for our resident cowl/costume aficionado, Chuck Williams. This was before Williams Studio 2 existed, I believe.
My concept of what the "deluxe" DVD set might look like, if we were to ever see such a set. Obviously, we all enjoy BATMAN nowadays on many types of media. T'was not so "back in the day".
Let the silliness ensue!
And finally, me exploring the avant garde. Take that, Joker!
