Re: I need some help...
The actual color of the striping, door bats, and wheel bats was a neon red/orange ("flourescent cerise" from a sign shop, says Barris--possibly acrylic?). It photographed red, but in person skews orange like caution tape. House of Kolor makes a really good match, NE504. But...it fades in sunlight. Badly. I mean, really badly. Within five hours it could fade as much as 50% if in direct sunlight. I use Torch Red WA9075 on my replicas, which doesn't pop like the flourescent color, but looks great in sunlight and in photos (and has the added bonus that it doesn't fade!). Good luck in your project.
