Willa Fitzgerald (from “Reacher”) looks quite a bit like Julie Newmar!

Watching season 1 of “Reacher,” and noticed striking similarities between the actress playing “Roscoe Conklin” and Julie Newmar. If they ever do a reboot of the TV show, we now have a Catwoman in addition to Sam Rechner as Bruce Wayne/Batman!

Watch especially after the first episode, say episodes 2, 3 and 4. Her expressions and even her teeth/smile are similar. Change her hair color and style, some colored contacts and she’s Catwoman. Closest I’ve ever seen.

That was essentially what my wife said: “yes, she looks like her if you were to make Willa’s waist narrower, her hips wider and add about 3 feet in height.”

But in the old days, they would dig trenches in the ground or build walkways for the shorter actors to look taller. I’d say a good 5 inch heel might make up the difference enough for us to accept. I know I would, if they would do a new 1966 Batman movie or a TV series (even a limited one). And, again, get Sam Recher to play the part of Bruce Wayne/Batman (see photo below).

Interesting. When I showed the photos to other Julie Newmar / 1966 Batman fans that I know, I heard the exact opposite, with everyone seeing a strong similarity of facial features. One of the fans called it a “spooky resemblance.”

I guess it’s like the blue dress/gold dress phenomenon. Some see it one way, others differently.

I sorta see a resemblance in one or two of the photos. Maybe if she was wearing the mask and ears...
