Adam West in "The Girl Who Knew Too Much"

Post by SprangFan »

I've honestly never heard of this film, but for the Adam fans here (which I'm guessing is most of us) I figured I'd mention that Hamilton Books has "The Girl Who Knew Too Much" (1969) on BluRay for dirt cheap. Lots of interesting things show up at this store from time to time and for what it's worth, I've always had good experiences with them.

I had to look the film up, which was complicated by the fact that John Saxon starred in an identically-titled movie just 6 years earlier. Sounds like Adam's was a box-office dud that took on new life as a staple of late-night TV. But again, I've never seen it.

According to Amazon I bought this 7 years ago-- I assume I watched it and forgot about it-- so it doesn't speak well for the movie or my memory.

Sounds like the perfect title for a crime drama about a young woman who makes it up into Hollywood's higher echelons.

I’m definitely interested in seeing this, not one that was on my radar!
