Re: Adam in tabloids. recently.

...The N.Y. Daily News and N.Y. Post, it should be pointed out, are daily, " real ", newspapers (especially the News), covering " serious " news that the Enquirer, et al, do not.
I'd put up links if I could now but...

Re: Hornet's cancellation

...Could one problem for the GH "66 series rating/gaining viewers- wise have been that, unlike Batman, the series did not have the support of regularly-published comic books out on the market that had, furthermore, been going u interrupted for more than 25 years so that even those not reading t...

Re: Batman on The Goldbergs

Re: Batman debuts in the UK

...Going from the UK to another part of the British Isles, a while back I read a 1960s book by an Irishman ~ unfortunately I no longer remember its title ~ which was rather a polemic on his part as to how he felt the culture and pride of Ireland had been watered down by commercial/whatever culture, ...

Adam in tabloids. recently.

I took too long to get this up, but... (1) I read that, after Adam's death, his demise was on the front page of both the New York Daily News and the New York Post, the competing NYC (No!!!!!!!!! :o  ) daily tabloid newspapers. I grew up in that area and with those papers and sill occasionally c...

Re: Clint Eastwood as Two-Face?

...I had the Prestige Format Ellison/Two-Face adaptation one-shot, IIRC it said it was a story sold when the first season was in the planning stages. It did nt involve the " TV anchor/exploding lamp " plot device the Clint story was alleged to have.

Adam 1980 anecdote in SF Chron.

A couple of weeksih back, the San Fran isco Chronicle, in the wake of Adam West's demise, ran somone's vintage anecte pertaining to Adam, in 1980 when the anecdote-teller was a teenage fan and met Adam then, under odd circumstances. I'm not going to try to summarize the anecdote. Instead, I will tel...

Clint Eastwood as Two-Face?

I have long heard that the series had planned, presumably for the never-made fourth season for NBC, to make an episode with Clint Eastwood as the villian, playing Two-Face. Obviously it was never made, but bow far along in stages of development had it been planned? Had Clint been informally asked, s...
