I loved his version of Batman - the definitive 60's version that led to me picking up a comic book in the first place. It was also his cover of a Batman comic ("The Remarkable Ruse of the Riddler!") that some say led William Dozier to create the TV show.

It is certainly true in my case that the show introduced the comic-book to a new audience. I was 6 so the perfect age for Batman and Robin (who was my favourite of the two). I also bought (or nagged my parents for) the masks, the toys, the colouring books and cars. As others have said, I don't think...
