Chris O'Donnell was a huge fan of the '66 Batman show.
I had 'The Insider' on tonight, and a brief clip of our '66 opening credits caught my eye in the "coming up" segment. Turns out it was a segment about Chris O'Donnell, who said, "I grew up a huge fan of the tv show. I think my mom still has my little Batmobile toy from when I was a kid." They showed the "Turbines to speed"/"Roger. Ready to move out" clip and a couple of quick cuts from the opening animation.
Our '66 show isn't something I generally expect to see on the entertainment shows, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Batmobile pic on Hollywood Game Night
Wow, this is two nights in a row. I just walked into the room and Hollywood Game Night was on, and the very first thing I see when I look at the screen is the '66 Batmobile. It was a game where they had to put tv/movie cars in the order in which they appeared on the scene. The Batmobile was the earliest in the game, followed by the General Lee and KITT and a few others.

Chris made a great Robin, would have loved to have seen a tv show with him playing the role.

He could play Batman now he's older.

The show is getting plugged constantly, lately. And when the series is released, it will be 10 times bigger! Speaking of O'Donnell, funny, as a kid I used to think when Adam West got too old to play Batman, of course Burt Ward would take over! A 'Batman 2' Dick Grayson, I mean. I could not imagine anything else! I don't know if Val Kilmer was a huge fan of the series, but there was a pic of him I used to see online visiting the bat-cave as a kid that surfaced when he played Batman. Does anyone else remember it?
Next week, the Dynamic Duo meets the Clock King!
