It should look fine with white make-up around the eyes. They used black on the model here which gives it that Heath Ledger look.

If ever a rubber mask were to usurp the Williams Shatner/Michael Meyers mask, this is the one!

As frightening as that truly is (and really, it's the stuff nightmares are made of), I have to say, what an amazing product! It has the moustache!!!!

I can't imagine why anyone costuming as Joker, wouldn't want to just do their own makeup.

They went a little overboard with the black around the eyes, but imagine they were following the eyeliner on Romero.

I like it- it'll look cool on a dummy head in the Batcave...

That might be the scariest thing I've ever seen-- I love it!

It actually might be very nice. The sculpt looks good but it's so hard to tell on a photo. I agree that you need as little separation between the mask's eyes and your own, so white makeup might be necessary. For display, some large-sized brown glass eyes could be a great addition to a mannequin head.

I look forward to seeing some real photos...something like this can get irreparably mangled in shipping, and the hair can be hit-and-miss. Something I'd want to decide on in person for sure.

I thought about it last Halloween, since the Rubies costume looked pretty decent, but stalled on the hair. This mask could possibly be trimmed to leave a "wig" of sorts...?

I wondered if Rubie's was at Comic Con or if anyone has heard more about this mask or other new offerings for this season. The mask isn't on their website and the only reference I see online is still just the Entertainment Earth listing (linked above), which has a September 2014 delivery date.

The photo's not great, but with a little hair styling it could be neat...the sculpt doesn't look bad. I wondered if anyone saw it in person at Comic Con.

This is finally up on Rubies' site so it wasn't canceled. It only shows "where to buy" and then lists all their retailers, basically every store in America, not ones specific to this product.

Entertainment Earth has moved the ship date from September to October. None have made it to Amazon or eBay, and I haven't seen any in the Halloween stores I've poked around.

The photo's been around a while (just on EE AFAIK) but I guess it won't make Halloween. I was anxious to see other views and hopefully an in-person one, as I thought it had potential.

I don't like it one bit... It's no where near the Joker image I have in mind. It's scary! I have to admit it... but it's no where near Joker.

that is horrifying--like a circus employee cousin of Halloween's Michael Myers.

Haha. Yes, but...I wanted to see if it turned out any better. That photo was from last April. Whoever set up the shot turned up the creep-o-meter, for sure ;)

Looks like the mask has been cancelled after all... The release date kept being pushed back, from August 2014 the first time all the way up to October 2016, but now it has completely vanished from EE's website and it's not on Rubie's site anymore either.
It's a shame cause I would've bought it for display purposes
