I doubt there ever would have been a chance considering there was never even a kiss of Julie or any other female by Batman. The only time we saw Bruce Wayne kiss anyone was with Lisa Carson in the great "Man can not live by crimefighting alone!" tag of "Batman's Waterloo".

I could be wrong, but I think Bruce shared a kiss with one of Joker's molls in 'The Joker's Epitaph'...maybe? I can't think of any others though.
Anyway, it always bugged me and seemed a little odd that Batman wasn't kissed by the Julie Newmar Catwoman, especially where she was all love sick.

Batman was about to kiss Julies Catwoman at the end of the Chad and jeremy episode before Robin stepped in. he also was forced to kiss The Queen of Diamonds repeatedly in the three parter with penguin.

Catwoman in season 3 hardly seems the same character. The recasting of Eartha Kitt turned CW into a more calculating criminal who was more interested in killing the Batman than any flirtations. Was this due to an unease in making a multi-racial woman having a crush on Batman or that Eartha's style in so many aspects just didn't fit with Julie's more comic take. Consider this is not the only time the series reinvisioned a major villain. George Sander's suave aristocratic Mr. Freeze is quite different than Otto Preminger's more burlesque one-note run through, more like a Lost in Space adversary than we had in the more intense season one foes. The Doctor wrote:Anyone else notice the absence of romance between Bats and Eartha Kitt's Catwoman? They lost a chance at beating Star Trek for the 'first inter-racial kiss on TV.'
The trigger: one of my riddles!

Personally, I think they made the Eartha Catwoman evil as it was just easier to do a two dimensional character for a 30 minute episode. They had to keep stuff simple as they just didn't have time for much character development. And Eartha did a nasty Catwoman at least as well as Julie or Lee ever did; maybe even better. And Eartha's Catwoman did say that she found Batman attractive when Batman tries to arrest her in the Dressed to Kill episode.Riddler 66 wrote: Catwoman in season 3 hardly seems the same character. All of Catwoman's feelings for Batman went out the window for good in Season 2 when Batman switched the Batagonian Cats Eye opals Catwoman wanted to steal with fakes. She was out for blood after that and even went as far as to wear poison perfume when seducing Batman yet again. He was so offended by her faux charms and realized all her antics that season were all a charade. Eartha Kitt's Catwoman did have some signs of those feelings in the Dressed To Kill episode but that was it. She was all business in the Joker two parter.

Of course. I mentioned in a long-ago thread that these eps were on only a few months BEFORE there was a ridiculous controversy caused by an ad exec who flipped out during the filming of Petula Clark's special. Why was he upset? Because Petula was holding onto the arm of Harry Belafonte.Riddler 66 wrote:Was this due to an unease in making a multi-racial woman having a crush on BatmanThe Doctor wrote:Anyone else notice the absence of romance between Bats and Eartha Kitt's Catwoman? Besides, it's not as if Dozier & Co. were socially advanced, given the subsequent Nora Clavicle portrayal of women.
