Here's a fun question....

If Gotham City is modeled after NYC, then where would Wayne Manor be in relation to it?

The Hamptons?

Queens?

Somewhere in between?

North of Manhattan?

I've often wondered....

No wait...I just remembered. It's within 14 miles... And it's near the shore? For batboat access?

Montclair, NJ is approximately 14 miles from New York City, and is quite a pricey area.

I'd say Connecticut. Yes it's 97.8 miles away, but maybe the Batmobile blasts thru 80 miles of underground cave at super-speed before surfacing! Works for me.

I nominate Scarsdale. There are some pretty manorial tudor-style estates there. It's about 25 miles from midtown Manhattan, but within 14 miles of the city line.
