I have at least three other storylines with male villains; the only female villain I had thought about over the years was a distant younger cousin of Catwoman named "Kitty-O" who dressed in a short skirt with a sexy leopard or tiger skin print. However you'll be happy to know that I've been trying to come up with a script for the Sea Hag (I really HATE that name, though! She's a hot blonde and as Scott Sebring points out, POPEYE ALREADY has a nemesis by that name. What in the world were the TOPPS Cards artists THINKING!?) Nonetheless, I'm pleased that you like the idea of Charleze Theron in the role.

elmgraham: one more thing---did you have a choice for an actor to play the Todster during the original run? So far we've got Paul Newman, Frankie Avalon, or Bobby Darin (along with wife Sandra Dee playing Sherry). Out of all of them, Bobby Darin definitely would exude the cockiness of the character, but I'm curious if you yourself had any suggestions.

I totally agree with you there. I hate that name too. The word 'hag' makes me think of an ugly witch type, not a hot blonde, and reading a story about a character with that name really doesn't appeal to me at all.

Gorshin Romero,how about The Frogwoman or The Sea Woman having the same Blue Scuba Wetsuit with a round Blue Mask and Blue Fins that are razor sharp for weapons.Also,the gloves on her Blue Wetsuit could be razor sharp.She could use them to shoot.She could also have a Green Scuba Belt and Respirator.The Sea Woman or The Frogwoman could also use her Spear Gun to shoot knockout darts,gas,and Sea Nets.Just like she is pictured on the 1966 Batman Topps Card number 14a:Danger In The Depths."My other suggestion is to stick with Sea Maid and Tsuami as her Scuba henchwomen.Sound Okay?

elmgraham: actually the storyline that I'm contemplating would keep her name as the "Sea Hag" but it would make fun of that particular moniker for her. You'll see what I mean when I eventually write the script.

My suggestion for a 1966 era Hot Toddy would be William Campbell, (in Star Trek the Squire of Gothos , he played Trelane and in the Trouble with Tribbles he played the Klingon Commander Koloth. ) I always thought it was a shame they didn't use him in the early Star Trek movies when he was available.
