Riddler costume/mannequin display

So I just completed my Riddler costume and display. Although I'm sure I will continue to tweak it for some time. The mask is from Williams Studio2, but I did everything else. I thought it was going to be a relatively easy costume (and one I could manage on my own), but it turned out to be more work than I originally expected. The wig is coming across more "copper-y" in the photos than it looks in person. But still, I do want to try to continue to darken it.
I purchased a mannequin with pose-able arms this time because I wanted to have more choices for displaying him. I made him a pose-able hand so that I could have him point his finger, or make a fist, or hold a can of Instant Forever Stick Invisible Wax Emulsion, etc. I think he looks pretty good along side my Catwoman. I would really like to do a Joker, but am fast running out of room! Anyway, I wanted to share him with the forum. I hope you like him.

Not sure that I will be doing any additional mannequins. They take up so much room! But if I do one more, it will be Joker.

Greatness, I have to ask, what kind of shoes did you use(brand and store)? Also, is that the Rubies Riddler costume or did you make it yourself. And finally, did you order the mask and painted it yourself or did they make it for you in purple (lavander, I guess)?

Also, i think the Riddler needs trunks, I purched a pair of Women's XL Danskins "boy cut trunks" off Amazon in Kelly Green. Take a look! The Batman and Riddler costumes are from Rubies and I made the signs as well.

My Riddler is wearing trunks, although they may be a little hard to see in the photos. I bought the trunks and ballet slippers and tights through Amazon. I got the leotard from e-dancewear. I purchased everything in white and custom-dyed them green. I created all of the different sized question mark stencils and hand-applied with fabric paint.
The trunks are Capezio women's briefs XL. The slippers are Sansha Pro 1 Canvas ballet slippers.
The mask is just the standard "sidekick" mask that Williams Studio offers. I asked Lynne if they could make it in Riddler lilac/lavender. She said they thought they had the perfect color for it, and I am very pleased with the color. I also purchased white gloves and custom dyed them lavender/lilac. The belt went through several attempts and failures before I ended up with this one made of real leather. The leather I bought was a lilac shade, but not quite right, so I ended up using leather paint on it. I added eyelets for the belt closure, and laced it up with a custom-dyed shoelace.
When I started, I thought "awesome! a costume with little-to-no sewing". But it still turned into quite a project. I also didn't like the head that was on my poseable-armed mannequin. So I ended up sawing it off and applying a different one. It still doesn't look like Frank, but it is better than the old one. The hardest thing was probably finding a wig that would look like Frank's hairline and then attempting multiple times to dye the synthetic wig. It also is better than how it started, but I want to darken it some more somehow.

I'm going to have to try all that dying processes! Looks like you really hit the nail head on! I see the trunks now, I didn't click on the photo before! The signs are made with white foam backing for posters (thick to cut with sciccors and hurts my hands!!) and the color foam sheets (some are sold at Walmart with adhesive backing or you can use elmer's glue sticks) The Rubies costume has straps at the bottom so iIF i want a real costume replica... I'm doing what you did!
One more question, about the question marks... was your stencil cardboard, illustartion board for thickeness, and with the fabric paint... did you use a regular brush, squeegee or roller (screen printers edition).
Hope you don't mind all these questions, but now I'm thinking with the question stencils... making the riddler's suit seems possible! LOL!

I'm now looking at the slippers... NO! Outside sidewalks would tear them up. I think for display is fine but green suede shoes would be more practical!
