Yep, I read that about Columbo. I'm glad it didn't happen frankly.
The Scarecrow was a big influence on me as a tyke. The best thing was the guy I worked for at Disney had painted all the movie posters for it! I geeked out completely!
Quick, Everyone, Flee for your lives, into the street!!!!
I did a Scarecrow outfit a few years ago. That cross bar was a bite to wear!!! Suprisingly the " burlap was not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. I used a flour sack type of burlap for the mask. The straw was a little itchy though
Absolutely stunning work, as always Chuck. It's a testament to the design that it translates to different materials so well. But of course it takes a master to make the translation happen! Thanks for bringing us these alternate visions.
And why doesn't Batman dance anymore? Remember the Batusi?
I have to agree with everyone else, Chuck: I'd like to see You do a Black leather '66 Bat suit, as well! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also have to say this gives me an idea.I'd love to see a reverse of the the original batman cowl. All black everything then a navy like color in the front where the black pant would be and maybe white paint for the nose and eyebrows.
I might photoshop that look soon.
Also I hope to see someone use this cowl and make w black and gray costume soon.
Hi Batker, Hi Batmanfan, Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember seeing a longer eared cowl that looked a lot like Your PS photo in I think..........a 1939, or '40 comic. Looks pretty slick, doesn't it?
I had occasion to check the shop. But confound it, there is now no way to GET that Bat-Hood from there!
Not, at least, unless you actually specifically request one directly from the Chuck Williams Studio. And for that, woefully FEW of us have the Wayne-like fortune it could require!
“To the Batcave--we haven’t ONE moment to LOSE!!!”
Did anyone on this board get one? I really want to get one for myself if Chuck makes them again and I wanted to see what it looks like on someone besides West’s bust.
