First off -- as a longtime lurker, I have to tell you this forum has been a remarkable resource for me over the past couple years. The generosity of its members and willingness to assist and inform newbies to all things '66 is really quite special. I've been a huge Batman fan since I began watching the '66 series in reruns on cable in the early '90s.
I wanted to reach out here as I'm eager to put together my first '66 suit for Halloween this year. I realize this is ambitious. Obviously, having read many, many threads over the years, I'm aware of the very talented people on here to goto to assemble the ultimate '66 replica suit (Chuck & Lynn, Duran, OnStageDancewear, etc). However, with time and a smaller budget being factors for this Halloween, I was hoping to track down some existing pieces that some of you guys might have gathering dust in your caves...
Given how often so many of you upgrade your suits, I figured there might be a chance some of you might have some quality used pieces you're no longer in need of.Right now, it looks like I've secured the tights. Given my huge head, I'm probably going to have to go with a Matty cowl for the more immediate (until I can invest in a custom shell). So if any of you had other pieces (satin trunks/gloves or cape) you'd be willing to part with -- please let me know via PM!
