Adam in tabloids. recently.

Post by elgualterio »

I took too long to get this up, but...
(1) I read that, after Adam's death, his demise was on the front page of both the New York Daily News and the New York Post, the competing NYC (No!!!!!!!!! :o  ) daily tabloid newspapers. I grew up in that area and with those papers and sill occasionally check them on the Web, but I missed looking at both those front pages, Could someone, please, find the front pages of both, presumably on their sites, and post a link to them, please?
(2) For a different sort of tabloid, the weekly supermarket tabloid The National Examiner had a story about Batman '66 in their July 17th issue ~ no longer current :( . The story (not bylined) was good, repeats the " NBC almost pick-up " story incidentally...It's right after a story on Clint Eastwood, too !!!!!!!!! It's not on the cover, the main cover line was ' DOLLY LEAVES HER HUSBAND! " plus " KENNY ROGERS' BRAVE GOODBYE! " and " IF DIANA HAD LIVED! " above the logo as well (Is that position on a front page " the skybox "?) ~ You know, the usual ;) . I don't think this Ex is very active online, somehow,(The same company that owns the National Enquirer and umpteen other mags owns this...Did anyone else here read that story about the Enquirer comppany that appeared recently in the New Yorker?) but if anyone wants to try and track this ish down :geek: ...

Yes, I saw some of them about things I'd rather not say. They were in very poor taste and so soon after his passing I was very sad to see them. If these were about positive things, cool!

...The N.Y. Daily News and N.Y. Post, it should be pointed out, are daily, " real ", newspapers (especially the News), covering " serious " news that the Enquirer, et al, do not.
I'd put up links if I could now but...
