I had no intention of buying all of the NJ Croce "Batman '66" bendables, but I did want the Egghead to stand amongst my Mattel action figures. He’s in perfect scale, but Egghead was the exclusive bendable in Set 2. I splurged and bought Set 2, plus the Joker, Catwoman and Penguin individually.
Ah, the best-laid plans: the seller forgot to send Joker and I had to order him again. (And then I found a loose Egghead! So now I have an Egghead to go with each group of figures!)

I was reminded, in about 1973, my brothers bought me "A Bag of Laughs”, in an orange-coloured bag about the size of a marble bag. We used to argue if it was Cesar Romero’s laugh from “Batman ‘66”. (It was fairly a fairly close imitation.) Sadly, the day we moved house in 1977, the batteries leaked in it. The terminals rusted out and ruined the operation of the toy also putting a big battery acid stain on the fabric.
A friend at school had one, years earlier, and had inspected its operation: there was a tiny plastic record and a little arm, with a needle on it. I found a "Youtube" video today; the laugh is a bit slow in the video, a bit like when the battery would start depleting!
