McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Sept 9th is the date in the Target Computers. An employee confirmed the date as well with his hand held device. He relayed that they ( Penquin) are now locked up in the backroom, with the electronics. No way they can sell it until September.
Maybe this Pengy is the chase, due to no mask? Only a guess since we have seen masked and unmasked of everyone else.
The new line up is a must have, each and every one.

There must be a mistake somewhere. September is way too far off for any big chain to keep stock in a back room. Besides, they already announced the 4th wave with Julie’s Catwoman which is going to be a SDCC release and that’s in July. How would wave 4 show up in stores before wave 3?? I think all stores were told to hold their shipment of wave 3 for the online pre-orders before putting on shelves. Perhaps they are waiting for the Boxing figures and Eartha’s Catwoman to come in to ship the figures together? Just guessing here, but I feel they’ll be out long before September.

Yeah the date has to be wrong. I spent decades in retail management and there's no way we'd tie up backroom real estate with merchandise not salable for months. You need to generate profits quickly.

I’ve seen multiple people post on Instagram in the last 24hrs stating that they’ve found Catwoman and Penguin on shelves.

I have seen that as well. Either target has fixed the error, or an the cashier rang up a different figure at the register. Very frustrating.

I had something like this happen a while ago at Target, back in the days before the self checkouts, I'd waited in a LOOONG line only to find the item I was buying wasn't in the system yet. Cashier said there was nothing she could do, so I asked for the manager, after explaining I was buying the item I waited in line so long for he produced a similar item and they scanned that and off I went. Amazing what managers can do.

He found retro Penguin ("pre-order saleable") and also Catwoman at two different California Targets, but they would not let him buy Catwoman due to its street date of September 9, 2022, hadn't hit yet. Also, notice the Robin figure at 7:20---I think someone did a swap!?

Another disappointment at Target. Found Eartha Catwoman (I really like the pic on back). I tried your work around Andy, but the manager wouldn't budge. Wiped tears from my eyes as he pulled all the figures, and back stocked- still 9/9 date. One note: there was only five, I think they usually ship in 6s, someone may have gotten one (San Diego).

Oh, that stinks, Jimmy L 66. When is a buffoon at Target going to fix this street date glitch--must be an error?!? Are you able to purchase Penguin now, like the youtuber was (Target system showed "pre-order saleable", per youtuber, rather than the 9-9-2022 street date)?

I asked the manager and he put them out, and said it shouldn't be long for the catwoman figure.

Awesome! Glad you were able to snag these Jimmy. Out of interest, are these showing as in stock online in the store that you grabbed them from? Or was this trial and error running into different stores?
