Does the Ampell Arms Acro 1 pellet gun look like they borrowed lines from the Green Hornet gas gun?

Does anyone else think that the mid-1970s Ampell Arms Acro 1 pellet gun favors the Green Hornet gas gun from the TV show in terms of the overall lines? I wonder if the designer was a fan of the show.

That was actually where I found it. It has one bid. I hope that’s yours! Since it’s a CO2 pistol, it might be fun to add a a homemade barrel extension housing a small cartridge filled with a fine powder in order to film an effect of it shooting “gas” as the CO2 gas ejects the powder.

I think the company didn’t last long and they only made them for a very short time, so they’re kind of hard to come by. I read that the workings were manufactured by the Shakespeare fishing reel company. Here’s the eBay link:
