Interesting, most likely the perspective of the photos, but the wheel to hood scaling of 1/8th looks pretty whackadoodle next to their 1/6th counterparts.

12” action figure to 10” or 9”. I thought 1/6 Batman holding up a 1/36 Jada would be in scale with Adam holding the Jazzinc Batmobile. Surprised someone has not taken that photo yet? Or 1/6 Batman holding up the 1/64 Batmobile in scale with a 1/12 Batmobile and Adam.

I saw the video for the Fanhome 1966 Batmobile and I noticed something.The beacon at the top was blinking.Didn't the original beacon rotate red instead of blink?Also,wasn't the Bat Ray(on top by the hood)gold in the series not silver?

$1691.57 at that scale? Ridiculous. If i'm going to pay anything in the four-figure range for a '66 Batman item, it will be something from JazzInc.

I have to say the level of detail, whether "accurate" or not, is amazing. Full frame assembly, engine assembly, now that's pretty amazing, especially for people who like to build cars.

Some interesting tools and accessories that are must haves - special small size phillips head screwdrivers, and a special mat to protect the painted surfaces. I wonder if a gun mat would work.

I think they are up to #20 in the packages as of last week.

I do not, I did subscribe to a FB group dedicated to the build. Fascinating so far.

This is directly from Fanhome’s own site online. The ‘Build the Batmobile’ collection is NO LONGER available. Their own wording.

No one is sure if they are no longer taking orders, or are stopping completely. So far the chassis are complete, and I think the arch and antlers have shipped, but no bodies.

If they truly stop, I feel really bad for the fans…hard to understand why the 007 Bond car and Mustang kits were completed, but not this one…like it’s cursed.

I think bad experiences with COlumbia House is what keeps me away from subscriptions. It'd be a shame for anyone who was enrolled if this came to a stop. Not sure how I'd handle it.
