I just got the June 1966 issue of Science & Mechanics magazine in which they test the Batmobile. I had been looking for this magazine for a while. Glad to finally have it.

I just finally got the May 1966 issue of Drag Cartoons. I had looked for a very long time for one that had a cover in good condition that was priced reasonably and finally found one. I've always wanted this magazine which hit the newsstands 2 months before I was born!

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
I’ve never been able to find one at a good price.
Same shoot shoot as the cover of the 66 LP.
Too cool!!!

If you watch eBay long enough, one will come up eventually. Don't give up! You can find one too.
I never realized it was the same photoshoot as the album but I see it now. Nice!

I don't think there's any doubt, where the question remains is does he have time-- and knowing Chuck and his work load I would say he probably doesn't.Planejack777 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 3:02 pm I still think if Chuck did some of those 1/3 scale castings of the Cowl only just as shown….theyd sell.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Planejack!!
Thanks Andy!
Yep! Only so many hours in the day.
You would need a factory cranking them out.

The UPS driver delivered my new Corgi Batmobile from Hornby USA on Wednesday. 10-year-old me is very excited.

Not sure why I haven’t bit. I probably still have an original somewhere, with my Man From U.N.C.L.E. Mobile,Saint Volvo P1800 and James Bond Aston Martin DB 5. But, for some reason, I’m just not motivated to go in for these very cool releases.
