And it's up for pre-order at BBTS so if you want to keep your shipping to $4 here's your chance...

I just got notified at work that my Corgi '66 Batmobile was delivered. I can hardly wait to get home to see it! I am almost 60, but stuff like this really brings forth the kid in me.
If it wasn't for this site, and all you folks, I probably wouldn't have found out this was available until too late... so grateful for all of you, even though we've never met and I hardly post anything. I do review this site at least every other day, just to keep up.

It is nice to have things like this to discover again. I definitely would have never known Corgi was still making these without the boards. I would have found the window box version but the solid box is the one I would have missed and that's my favorite.

Well I cancelled my membership-- that's it for me, unless they do a Green Hornet Black Beauty or a Monkeemobile.

Corgi Club texted to me that they want to make the first issue Black Beauty. I think they will be able to get the license as Corgi Hornby had reissued the Black Beauty before but the Corgi Club I believe will do a much higher quality one.

In the UK, they have the Monkeemobile now. I have the reissues from 20 years ago, Black Beauty, DB5, Monkeemobile, and movie Mystery Machine.

Well, I have to admit that even though I said I stopped my collecting, I couldn't help but spring for this beautiful item. I went and pre-ordered one from Monsters in Motion.

I would definitely spring for a Black Beauty version.

I was at a Hobby Town store this afternoon. It was so good to see the Corgi '66 Batmobile back in a store. Hope Corgi reissues others like Green Hornet Black Beauty and Monkeemobile.

As they did such a great job on car reissue I'll definitely be going for the Batboat when it gets released.

One thing I'll say is getting it by ordering online and having a delivery van bring it to the door is quite boring and soulless. I miss going into a department store - big or small, a K-Mart, or a mom and pop variety store and seeing all kinds of cool stuff on the shelves and racks. Ordering online is about as fun as calling a warehouse and having said product delivered. Convenience doesn't replace spirit.
