Re: McFarlane cowl giveaway...
Looks like you’ll just have to find someone who can make one for you.

Very disappointed that I didn't win.
Of course, I didn't buy the figure or enter the contest so that hurt my chances, but still.

Dale Elkins won it. I wonder who made the cowl?

My 2 cents...
This giveaway cowl is the prototype of a possible mass produced cowl.
I think the numbers of those that entered were well below expectations.
They probably found it too expensive to produce for such a small market.
I think they "reverse engineered" one of our cowls. I see a few tells.
He even referenced "somebody did a true replica of the one used on the show" in the video when he learned about the shell.
This was made by a factory overseas.
Considering what they previously presented as a "replica cowl", no one in their art dept. had a clue of what it really was without copying our work.

Re: McFarlane cowl giveaway...
I realllly hope it gets made. I would LOVE a Chuck WIlliams cowl but cannot afford one. McFarlane would be more affordable and better quality than the Matty Collector cowl I have. However, McFarlane just lost the DC license to Mattel. Not sure if that covers cowl replicas as well whether they be plastic or wearable.Chuck Williams wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:04 am My 2 cents...
