Amazing stuff, Lou! I want to come over and just hang out-- we can make Fluffernutter Sandwiches and read comic books! I've got that Filmation "Mego" too complete with the much better cape thanks to a kind board member. It's one of my favorites of my Mego Collection!

Speaking of Megos-- sort of in that category-- I really like the Tonner '66 BATMAN 18" figure-- it looks better in person than it does in photos.

Without the mask the figure does look like Adam West.

And one of the hardest items I collected-- a mint condition Worcester Toy Company BATMOBILE.

For anyone who wants to share pics from their collections but are unsure how to do it here, there are two simple ways-- very important to make sure you're in FULL EDITOR in posting.

1- If you want to upload directly to the 66 Batboard, you need to edit your image down to less than 2MB, there are a lot of free software packages to do that. You simply edit the image down and then click ADD FILES and you're good to go.

2- If you're like me and you don't want to have to edit it, you can go to a third party photo hosting service. I don't like places like PHOTOBUCKET because they change their rules so often that many times over your photos get lost. I simply use BLOGGER -- it's a free blog posting from Google-- use the most basic template and just upload a photo into the blog and publish it. Then go to view blog and then either right click on the image or if you're a Mac User like me Control + Right Click and copy the image address.

Now in the full editor screen back here, there is a pic option at the top-- 9th item from the left-- click on that and you're going to get this inserted into your message;

Simply take your mouse and click in between the ] and the [ and hit right click or Mac Folks Command + V and the image address will be placed in the proper place. Write your text and then hit SUBMIT and you've got yourself a photo loaded post!

So don't hold back, let's see what your collection is like.

Or, you can do what I do (because I don’t have any third-party photo editing apps on my phone) which is to take a screenshot of the original (hi-res) photo and crop out any extra stuff that may be in the screen shot.

The screenshot usually drops the resolution to 2 MB or less.

Brilliant! Anything that makes it easier is great!

That would be fun, a Bat Play date!

I had to look up what a “fluffernutter” sandwich was. I suspected it had something to do with marshmallow, but had never heard of that term, having grown up in Springdale, Ohio in the 1960s (well, a year and a half in Indiana at the end of the decade).

I mixed peanut butter and syrup (spread on Zesta saltine crackers) while watching TV after school.

If I'm being totally honest I would take a PB&J over a fluffernutter any day. I did make a double decker one a week or so ago and it literally fell apart in my hands. I ended up needing to shower.

Don't look now, but in some parts of the country they make Peanut Butter and Tuna Fish sandwiches (hope no one is reading this during a meal)-- I thought it was made up but OH NO it's real.

😬🤢🤮

JOKER: “Surprise, Batman! Bon appetit!”

ROBIN: “HOLY MACKEREL! That’s no chef!”

JOKER: “Not mackerel, Boy Wonder - TUNA!”

BATMAN: “JOKER! I should have KNOWN only a crazed culinarian could be behind such vile VITTLES … *UNnnh*”

JOKER: “Ohhhh, ‘vittles’ indeed. Tsk tsk. I never would’ve taken you for a hillbilly. What’s the matter, Batman? It’s just a ‘PB&J’ - peanut butter and JOKER - sandwich! HOOO HOOO!”

What fun items. I have to take issue with “Brave and the Bold” illustration depicting 1966 Adam West Batman saying/agreeing about being “the greatest.” Our Batman would have more likely said something humble like:

“Greatest? I don’t know about that. How does that ancient Chinese proverb go? Ah, yes: ‘Great boast, small roast.’ Remember, old chum, it’s not the whistle that moves the train.”

But I guess that would’ve been too much to put in a word balloon. 😁
