Must have bumped my head-- I went and looked it up; he was on WILD WILD WEST, MUNSTERS, GET SMART and THE MONKEES (all favorites) and my all time favorite show KOLCHAK THE NIGHT STALKER but he was not on BATMAN. My bad, folks.

Also
If you put the “ supports “ on the base
and then decide to remove them and just sit the cowl on flat base …. These are VERY DIFFICULT to get back out
Very!!!!

I'd imagine its a better idea to use the supports-- if you just rested it flat I imagine it is not secured in any way-- and with plastic you can get warping if the neck area is too thin to support the weight of the cowl long term.

All favorites of mine, as well.

Hey, it sounded plausible, Andy. Could easily picture “Uncle Leo” as a “Leo the lion” henchcat to Catwoman.

You must mean the smaller scale one, Planejack, since Chuck does make a 1:1-- the McFarlane Cowl is marked down to $78 on Amazon for anyone who held out -- another case of "The Law" striking again.

Amazon McFarlane Cowl

For those of you not following in the other thread- The Law is simple- "thou shall find an item you paid full retail for at half price while items passed on will increase substantially in the collector's market."

For the record, I never bit on this one, despite it looking great-- the fact that it's unwearable even though I would probably never wear it anyway, and it's huge made it a pass for me.

Chuck made this Promotional piece based on the TV shows intro cartoon. I used to have more pictures before the crash, but you get the idea.

That’s awesome! THAT would be a good modern Ideal cowl.

Ok, that’s cool. I’m glad I bought the one off of Amazon then.

For those who want to see one corollary of “The Law” as represented by Gary Larson in his “Far Side” gag panels, my friend, Paul, found this example:

LOL! Andy, that is a prototype of a rip off the guy did after I tried to help him... after he ripped me off the first time!
Here is what I did for him.
It's a long story!

I have never made a plastic cowl like the McFarlane.

T'wasn't me suggesting it, Chuck.
This fabric cowl is SOOOOOO incredibly cool. It would probably really rub the guy's rhubarb if you made these available to the rest of us!

I saw a second one for sale many years ago. Chuck, how many did you make for them?

And you may not have made a plastic one, but I bet you could 8-)
