Hey Batfans,
Just wanted to give you an update. The book (which will cover Season One) is coming along, but not as quickly as we’d like. I don’t anticipate another Batpoles episode anytime soon, but, after an unplanned hiatus, we have resumed bi-weekly BAT BITS episodes on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/deconcomics . We’re currently doing a four-part look at Rik Vollaerts’ first draft of “The Bookworm Turns”, which is much different from the final and is clearly inferior in many respects, but it shows us what Vollaerts was thinking; we can see some of the ideas that got scrambled in the final. Why was a fake Gordon “assassinated” in the cold open? This draft tells us what that little ruse was meant to accomplish!
