BB Question

Post by GMartin58 »

Does anyone know of a Black Beauty replica on the west coast or Pacific Northwest? Most of the cars I know of are either East Coast or down south.

I wonder if the AI video software being discussed in the other threads could create BB scenes, perhaps even with the characters?

I can only think of the East Coast guys. Is it for an appearance or filming? If filming, it may be cheaper to fly out and film what you need out there. Dan Rodriguez would be my personal goto choice in NJ. We used his Batmobile for "The Adventures of Little Batman." Great guy!

I've been approached by a local convention inquiring about a car. I know of a '65 Imperial locally but buying and converting is probably NOT going to happen!!

According to this site, the depicted Black Beauty “resides in bay area of California.”

There are other replicas on this site. I didn’t go through all. Started with the last and worked backwards, so plenty others to look through.

Yep...aware of the two California cars...don't have any idea of the contacts for those cars though. Bay Area is 13 hours from here so not real $$ conducive. But thanks for the insight. I seem to live in a BB free zone!!

Greg, I would recommend reaching out to our pal Nate Truman who runs Star Cars. If he doesn't know of a Beauty in your area, he would know someone who would (if there is indeed one up there in the PNW). Tell him Scott and Ben sent ya. ;)

If you’re handy with transmissions, and you’re good at conversions, here’s a 1965 black Chrysler Imperial for $8K.

I had to laugh at this part of the description:

“BONUS: If you buy this car and learn kung fu, you could be the next Green Lantern!”
