Outside of the Batcave, Scott and I are rounding out six-months of content surrounding his latest album release, "Prequel".
The final song on this current, autobiographical album is "The Long Goodbye" - a heartbreakingly real story of a Father, a Son and the complicated indignity of Dementia, Alzheimer's and other such unforgiving brutal ailments that so many of us and our loved ones will unfortunately continue to battle as time goes on.
Here's the very simple but powerful lyric video that we created for the song:
If you'd like to hear more about the story behind this song, there's also a Track-by-Track short, where Scott talks about his Dad's last chapter:
The album "Prequel" is available to stream in all the usual places. Physical CDs are also available directly from Scott.

Powerful stuff Scott. I have enjoyed the musical offerings from this album, which I suspect must have been very therapeutic.
Thanks for sharing this Ben.

It’s such a terrible disease. Strips away everything.
The song articulates well the pain of watching a parent or loved one lose his or her identity to dementia/Alzheimer’s.

Hot Topic Policy Violation: Leave Politics and stuff about thing like taxes off the board.
