Hot Wheels Corgi Tribute Batboat
Some days you just can't get rid of a ... SHARK!
Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread
I may try to print a trailer, but it's very tiny for the over the exhaust attachment but it could probably secure under the body.
This is the new boat on a Corgi Jr boat trailer.
Sorry I've been missing from the board lately guys, my family has had a FLOOD of medical issues & life gets in the way sometimes.

Your Corgi Jr. boat trailer looks great. I'm still looking for a trailer for my BatBoat and Batmobile!! I looked at current offerings at Hobby Lobby, but none were just right. The search continues!rsaffle wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 12:44 pmI may try to print a trailer, but it's very tiny for the over the exhaust attachment but it could probably secure under the body.

I've been seeing this 1/64 HOT WHEELS Bat-boat on Facebook a lot and eBay but yet to see one in a store yet. I thought it was fake at first but have seen so many different posts and by different fans, it's real!
I'm a big fan of Batman 1966 and other Batman movies too. I collect Batman cars, figures, collectibles and have many interests. https://www.instagram.com/antman.cosplayer/

Still haven’t found one in a store yet, either.
Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread
Saw it on Target's website for $15 (!).
eBay seller has one for $4.99 with $5 shipping.
I'll still check the wall of cars at my supermarket, although to be honest I've been in three times recently and have completely forgotten to look for it.

Have been checking Target, Walmart, Meijer, Hobby Lobby (which has a nicer variety of diecast vehicles, slot cars and models than most stores - but usually pricier). Even checked two other counties.
No luck finding a single Batboat.
I had the same bad luck trying to find a Matchbox “moving parts” blue (or, less desirable red) Corvair rampside pick up truck. Was hoping to find one for a friend of mine who eventually gave up and purchased the red version from eBay.
Never appeared even once.

Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread
I remember when the first 66 Batmobile was coming from Hot Wheels-- people were paying $150 a pop and they were hard to find. At the time my son worked for one of the soda companies so he'd do all the markets and Wal*Marts, Targets, etc-- over the course of a year he bought me about 100 of them- I turned them into a display for an art show and then gave them away to some school kids who probably wondered why it wasn't Keaton's car.
Then there was the 1:87 Batmobile-- same thing, I refused to pay scalper prices but after about three years of never seeing one I ended up paying a ridiculous amount for one. I love that scale. The 1939 First Appearance Hot Wheels Batmobile, red with Batman and Robin in it (how did Robin get in a car that disappeared when he was introduced) was a SDCC exclusive and one of the few years I missed the show and didn't have my usual helpers on the floor who don't mind waiting in line. Ended up paying scalper prices for that one too.
That said, the Batboat is neat, but I don't care enough about to give it much more effort than casually looking. I guess I'm getting pickier and less collector minded in my older age.

Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread
It's amazing, I go into a Target or Walmart very rarely these days. I used to be in there regularly when my kids were younger and I never found one of these items that I was looking for. Seemed like they were cleared out before hitting the shelves. I moved from Arizona to Michigan 5 years ago, and the same thing, nothing! But I have to agree with Andy, I'm getting pickier and less collector minded in my older age. I love the Corgi Bat Boat and that's good enough for me.

I only check when I have reason to be in the store, anyway. I don’t make any special trips. But, still, I’m in the stores often enough to where you would think I would find one, somewhere.
