That’s how I feel too. I just want Mad Hatter. Even if they just put out a villains box set and him as the new figure. He’s the only series villain I really care to own at this point, and Alfred of course. I also hope we see the Batcopter and the Batgirl Cycle. Why bother making the Batboat if you’re not gonna make all of Batman’s vehicles? Todd comes so close to making the most complete 1966 series toy line and leaves these few huge missing pieces out.

I want Mad Hatter, too, and Alfred and Bruce & Dick in street clothes. Please, Todd McFarlane!

The Mad Hatter was able to be made by Figures Toy Company. Why not McFarlane? Different kind of rights?Barnabas Collins wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 4:09 pm I want Mad Hatter, too, and Alfred and Bruce & Dick in street clothes. Please, Todd McFarlane!![]()

Not a rights issue, just a choice by McFarlane.Jczernich wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 4:14 amThe Mad Hatter was able to be made by Figures Toy Company. Why not McFarlane? The cold hard truth is if a company doesn't think they'll sell enough to make money they won't go through the bother of tooling. This line went a lot deeper than I ever imagined-- it does seem odd to have Pink Cowl Batman and no Mad Hatter-- but again see my previous sentence.

As someone else suggested, our best bet may be a boxed set. I can easily see Hatter in a boxed set with the Pink Cowl Batman and repaints/variants of Mr. Freeze, RIddler. This could also be a wonderful opportunity to get variants that are the Eli Wallach Mr. Freeze as well as the derby hat/suit and tie Riddler.AndyFish wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 7:35 pm The cold hard truth is if a company doesn't think they'll sell enough to make money they won't go through the bother of tooling. I’m shocked we haven’t gotten a villains box set yet. I mean unlike the heroes who have been released with some accessories none of the earlier villains had any. Perfect opportunity to make Masked Penguin with umbrella, Unmasked Catwoman with her cat gun, an Eli Mr. Freeze with his freeze gun, Joker with utility belt and the b&w Riddler released as a colorized version with the cane and Mad Hatter as the brand new figure. I wonder if we will see more villains from the comic book released as well. I sure hope so.

Do not forget, this box set was already released:rickkrefft wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 7:50 am I’m shocked we haven’t gotten a villains box set yet. Maybe it sold well enough to make another boxed set. Also do not forget, NYCC is next week. Who knows if McFarlane will be making toy announcements there too?

No fans of Bookworm? He got a figure from the Funko line.

I like Bookworm, but I don’t consider him (a one shot villain) as important as Mad Hatter who had more appearances on the series and was in the comic books as well, since the golden age.

Exactly. Give us Hatter!rickkrefft wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 10:32 am I like Bookworm, but I don’t consider him (a one shot villain) as important as Mad Hatter who had more appearances on the series and was in the comic books as well, since the golden age.

I haven't yet decided on a face to customise yet, but the b/w McFarlane Joker was a worthwhile investment when I saw one hanging on a peg. One day, one way or another, I will have a Mad Hatter.

Ian, such a good eye!
It seems to me that the Joker face could be customized to look decently like the Mad Hatter. Especially if you cover the upper lip and top teeth with a mustache.
