One of many Andy! 😀

Speaking of aluminum castings, it looks like my Robin batarang is a copy of the aluminum cast original based on matching dings and scratches.

It's especially significant, Chuck, when you don't work with a lot of co-workers. When I'm stressed on a project, even though she's only one flight of stairs away from me, a quick glance at one of the photos of the Mrs always calms me down.

Hi Andy,

Sounds great. I'd like to order one but it's better to wait for the new hinge design?

The original used a piece of a piano hinge, which is what I am going forward with.

I was hoping the perfectly sized hinge I sourced would be better but it is actually too precise.
The gaps between the pin and the flange is so tight it wants to scrape the paint off.

So, once again, I find a reason for some of the choices the original prop folks made.

I have a few piano hinges in the right width coming in, so feel free to order when you would like.
I will have changed over to the best one I can find in just a few days.
