And it comes with a Batarang, Bat-Radio, and interchangeable hands!

Overall, I like the look, it looks NECA-ish and an overall level of quality I would have much preferred the 6" line to have had in the first place. Maybe we'll get a Robin in this scale soon!

It was good news to start the day. My guess they will make a 7-in Robin, Joker, possibly Catwoman unmasked and a set with the larger all new '66 Batmobile.

It was unusual McFarlane did not have any promotions or pre-order announcements for 7" 1966 Batman.

When the first Adam West Batman was released, I was talking to Todd McFarlane on the phone doing an internet interview and I said how we wished it was in 7" scale and he seemed with his tone of voice regret he made them in 6".

My guess next will be 7" Robin and then a new larger '66 Batmobile so they can be sold in a box set. Maybe they will announce that at SDCC?

They should make a 7" unmasked Julie Newmar Catwoman that can also be sold with her new autobiography.

Someone posted this brand new McFarlane Yvonne Craig Batgirl but I think it's Photoshop fan-made fake.

The reason I think it's fake is that McFarlane would have put sparkle in the plastic like he did with the Catwoman and as far as I know there is no likeness agreement with the Yvonne Craig estate. Unless Andy Fish can confirm that?

You’re correct. It’s just a reworking of the face on the original preview photo as seen on this site back in May, 2023:

He was probably testing the waters to see if '66 Batman figures would still have the sales he needed to continue making them. That, and 6" figures, and smaller, are easier to make vehicles and sets for.

Scott would be the go-to on Yvonne's estate and likeness rights as far as I imagine.
The 7" figure looks good, I don't love all the joints these figures have, but its a good take. Doesn't seem over muscled but maybe I'm just not looking close enough. I never liked BATMAN BEYOND but I like the old man Bruce Wayne figure-- that's neat-o-beneat-o!

Bingo. I think NECA handled it better.

But, always good to see another 1966 Batman. Choices.

Speaking of “Batman Beyond,” years ago, when my son was maybe 5 or 6 years old, I was putting away our Halloween items in the attic. Having my hands full, and kind of for fun, I placed a Batman movie cowl over the head of a 1:1 scale skeleton, which I had sitting in a chair.

My son climbed up to the attic, saw the skeleton and quipped:

“Batman, a bit MORE Beyond.”

The Hong Kong production piece has a triangular nose stripe and the ad one has a straight line accurate nose stripe.

I wonder if there will be two versions of nose stripe lines?

I much prefer the straight line accurate stripe.

Oh yeah gotta be straight all the way-- major flub if they go with that pointed look, which would be a shame, this is one of the nicer Adam head sculpts from anyone IMO.
