Barnabas always has an inside track-- I think he's batting (no pun) 100%.
A 1/1 cowl- now THAT would be interesting.

Yeah, but it is always good to site the source or a link. I need to see how this cowl compares with the Mattel one. I am not saying the Mattel one is the gold standard but I need to see how the McFarlane one compares before committing to a new cowl purchase.
They are also doing a replica of the Keaton cowl: https://www.therpf.com/forums/threads/m ... wl.357920/

The cowl doesn’t interest me, but I really want the Batgirl Cycle. I hope it’s not a SDCC exclusive. Now if we could only get the Batcopter to complete all the main vehicles.

Just give me the Batcopter AND Mad Hatter and I will never need another '66 toy!rickkrefft wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 2:01 pm The cowl doesn’t interest me, but I really want the Batgirl Cycle. I hope it’s not a SDCC exclusive. Now if we could only get the Batcopter to complete all the main vehicles.

I'm hoping for the new 7-in line for '66 Batman that they will make the effort to get the Yvonne Craig estate likeness rights for 7-in Batgirl and a larger motorcycle.

I know what you mean, as long as they are either West, Keaton, Bale, Pattinson and are below (or around) $300!
AND, TNI is also citing the overseas listings for the Batgirl Cycle and the Replica Cowl:

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
Of all the new retro 1966 Batman toys, I think this 7-in McFarlane Batman will be at the top along with the JazzInc 1966 Batmobile and Hot Toys 1966.
An impeccable source said Hot Toys had sculpted the Yvonne Craig Batgirl for sale but canceled selling it with the poor sales of 1966 Batman. If the rights get resolved with her estate, I bet Hot Toys will try to bring it back out again especially if JazzInc makes their licensed Batgirl and her cycle.

I feel ya! For me personally I don't like any of the Rubber Suits, so the only cowls I go after are the Wilson's, the Wests and I am always on the lookout for a nice 1939 style cowl that isn't made out of rubber-- would have to be fabric or leather. Chuck?
I'd bet donuts (precious commodity to me if they are good ones) that the cowl will be a SDCC reveal or just before.

If the cowl replicas are successful for McFarlane I would love for them to try...A Filmation Cowl!AndyFish wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 7:08 am I feel ya!
