Here are some more pics of the top of the bottom half.
It is getting there the corners are there now!
The next part will be the underneath part that the rods go in.
This is still a test piece, the green is not the correct shade but we ran out of the yellow to test with!

Guys:
I have been repairing the broken upright railings on the main AP.
They were broken when the AP was moved from downstairs to upstairs, and have been that way for about 5 years!
Ever since I had a stroke that took away my modeling skills, but as you have see they are back!
For those who do not know that was why I quit modeling!
So here are pics of the main AP with the rails fixed enjoy.
Can I ask a question what has happened to this channel? I used to post things and just about everyone would comment, now I just get a few!
And I am really thankful to those who comment it keeps me going!

That thing is beautiful! You even captured the rings on the giant support columns. Incredible work.

Agreed - looks like it was actually cast in reinforced concrete.

I made a mistake it was 6mm masking tape!
Look on my page 8 for the details!

After 17hrs printing here is the middle panel!
Let me know what you think, I needs a honest opinion please!
Do you think it has enough detail?
Next we will work on the other panels.

The rest of your atomic pile is so well done, that I think the control panels need to be more detailed. Those are not big blocks of color but individual buttons grouped together.

I’m adding some photos from the show as well as a couple of photographs of similar types of lit panel buttons.

If you could Photoshop buttons like this onto a control panel, maybe change the wording on the buttons to fit a Batman atomic pile theme (even if they can’t be read), I think it will add the right touch of realism for your work.

By the way, can anyone on the board verify whether or not that red bat sitting above the controls in the picture with Alfred is authentic to the panel or was it something someone added to the photo? It doesn’t appear in the photograph with Adam West. I found the photo on the Internet. To me, at least, it looks like someone added that. It isn’t centered and the color seems to be a bit too bright.

I agree BiffPow I'll ask my son to work on it some more.
I think it is pretty good although I would like to see more detail!
I think we will work on the other two panels and see what they look like next to this panel!
Then we can go back and maybe make more detail.

It is after all our first try.
