Jim K, Bat fan wrote:I noticed on another site (bullmoose.com) they have the Blu-ray collection for only $149.97 - however, the photo shown is slightly different and I'm wondering if this is yet a different version that does not have the extras? That is quite a bit less $ compared to amazon's price.

Any thoughts?
Has anyone ever ordered from this site before? How was the service? That price is amazing and I think that would not only save me the $30.00 off the current Amazon price but I also wouldn't have to pay taxes because they are out of state and don't have a warehouse in TX. That would be awesome! I wrote Amazon to see if they will price match and if they won't I'll cancel my order and order from Bull Moose instead.

Well, Amazon did price match the set for me and so I'll stick with them even though I still will have to pay the sales tax because being a Prime member I should receive it on release day.

Yes, I'd like to know too. The Bullmoose site actually has the DVD set for $168...almost like they got the prices switched.

Also, I guess you have to call to get more than one set from the WB site? I can't see how to put more than one item in the cart.

Once you begin the order placement process on the website it will prompt you and ask if you want extras at 30% off. Do not worry, you will not be able to miss it, it is a separate screen with graphics. It will also ask you if you want it gift wrapped with Batpaper. I did since my husband will love it.

Hmmm...I got to the screen that ends with the "click to pay" button and saw nothing...maybe it's been pop-up blocked, or it's my browser?

Ok so I contacted amazon about the price match to bullmoose.com & they replied stating they would not price match. How did you get them to price match for you?

I am running Windows 8.1 with Firefox, popups blocked, if that helps you any. Are you using the mobile site or the one designed for computers? I used the computer version.

I'm on my computer with updated Windows, and accessing it with Firefox though I may be a version or two behind. I had another problem this week ordering from a site and not seeing shipping options appear, so I'm sure it's me. Tough to admit these kinds of issues in public (including the UV thing), but you've been more than gracious.

It's always fun to help another Bat-fan. I was also going to mention that when I go on vacation, it's nice to not have to pack the iPad (or laptop) and a whole bunch of DVD's as well. Everything is in one place, the iPad. I like to read books while on vacation and I have the Kindle app on my iPad as well. It's made packing a whole lot easier.

Ok guys...I didn't do anything really special or anything. I searched for their customer service or contact link and it showed my latest order. I changed it to my Batman pre-order from when it was first announced. I used the email option and I simply asked them if they were going to lower the price because I and other fans felt the current price was too high and I told them Bull Moose was offering it for the $149.97 price and I provided the link to their website to prove I was not lying.

They wrote me back and said that they realize I have a choice of options of who to purchase from and because of my valued business they would make an exception this one time and price match. That said though I want to say that I am a Prime member and I do a LOT of business with them. If they hadn't I would have canceled my pre-order and bought it from Bull Moose instead. I still could do that and save the state sales tax on my order but because Amazon was generous enough to match the retail price I'll let them have my business. AND they just made a Prime renewal customer in January. It's a win win.

I'm shocked they didn't price match, unless they don't consider Bullmoose a legit website. I wanted to clarify that I said the dvd they were offering is legit, I've never heard of them. I'll stick with Amazon. Also a prime member. They have great free streaming.

Hi kids,

Let me make sure I have this straight. B.m. has the DVD set HIGHER than the blu-ray set?! To quote Max from 2 Broke girls, "Oh HELLLLL no!!" I'm looking FORWARD to playing a game called PRICE MATCH "extortion" on release day. :D

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but the latest issue of "Costco Connection" has a page devoted to the Blu-Ray release, with quotes from Adam. Nothing new, really, but it adds to the mounting anticipation for this release. Plus it's good to have confirmation Costco will offer it.

No mention of price.

Someone at HTF (Home Theatre Forum) asked their local Costco about the price and they said it would be $174.99, not much different than Amazon.com's price.
