well i just "chat " text with customer service at Amazon and told them about Bullmoose and was told this!
the only bad thing is I get total knee replacement on 11/13 and will be in hospital for 5 days while my DVDs are sitting at home

Awesome! I've found that you seem to get better results when you chat with a customer service rep, rather than communicating through email. For me, at least.

instead of trying to get Amazon to price match it seems like it would be easier to order from Bullmoose. They offer free shipping, too.

Woo-Hoo!!! I too have contacted Amazon and negotiated the $149 price by way of a refund follow-up once the Blu-ray set is shipped. Thanks to Jim K. for the bullmoose.com link and heads-up and Mike Mulitsch for the Amazon price-match info!!!

I'd rather stick with Amazon, I know them and they are more than reliable. The ONLY thing that concerns me is the last two orders I got from them were packed pretty badly-- one I had to send back, the other I can live with.

But they have a solid return policy regarding damages so I'm staying with Amazon.

Folks, just to let you know, don't be afraid of Bullmoose. I live in Maine and I have 3 big, brick and mortar stores within 20 minutes of my my house, they have been in business for a very long time and really good to deal with. I've bought and sold DVDs there for years and they've also done some special orders for me. I just placed my order through the site, glad that I am supporting local economy and a good small business. Just thought that I would chime in to reassure any of you that are on the fence ordering through this site.

Bullmoose has the Blu for $150 and the DVD for $169? Wha??
It also says the Blu ships on 11/10/14 while the DVD ships within 48 hours of 11/11/14.

Hmmmm.

If I was opting for the Blu I'd go through these guys, provided this Blu they're offering is the full blu set with all the extra junk or is this yet ANOTHER version of this release being offered?

Makes my head hurt.

I'm sticking with the DVDs for the simple reason I like the box better, and honestly for a 45 year old show they can only attain X level of clarity. I saw the DVD and the Blu side by side on two of the same TVs and they look so close I'm going to save the extra $20, plus as I said-- I like the box better and I'm picky about stuff like that.
