Hi all,
Born in 1960, vividly remember being glued to the set waiting for the show, THAT intro, and dancing in front of the set when it came on! Been away from it for a while, other than collecting Batmobile diecast(original series only of course) but just managed to record a ton of episodes lately from IFC and dropping back into the Bat-Coma like the old days. Wife thinks I'm a total nerd, but all good. Not a big fan of the new stuff, still think the original is the best. Suspect I'll be purchasing that recent DVD boxed set soon. I do have the original Batman movie on DVD, been catching up on that also. Anyways, thought I'd stop on in and introduce myself. Kind of stumbled over this site today while watching a bunch of Season 2, just finished Batman's Satisfaction. The IFC recordings basically started during Season 2, didn't manage to capture any of Season 1, but does have most of Season 3. Still soaking in what I recall from watching as a kid, I have a few topics in mind for posting but I'll give that a few days. One thing I do see now, Julie Newmar was insanely hot! Don't recall thinking that as a 7 or 8 year old! Anyways, enough of that, just wanted to say hi and hopefully will find some time to comment on and make some posts.....

Just to let you know, you can download individual episodes from iTunes and Amazon. If you check out the previews on iTunes I think they are in SD, but you can download in 1080p if you change your download preferences. The 30 second preview for season 2 episode 10 shows Julie and Leslie Gore. The detail is far more than you will see than on IFC, but is amazing in 1080p.
