Official 1/6 Julie Newmar Catwoman by JazzInc approved!
JazzInc announces 1/6 Julie Newmar. Julie liked their work on the Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman and these rough sketches.

Has JazzInc made 1/6 figures before?
These are the Batmobile people, right?

Does anyone else think this doesn’t look anything like Julie Newmar? The face in the sketch showing her in the reclining position looks more like a mix of Michelle Pfeiffer and Ann-Margret than Julie.
I still think the photos of Lee Meriwether and Julie Newmar are confusing the sculptors, trying to make the differences make sense by combining the two.

I agree, don't think it looks like her at all.

Yes they are working on Michelle Pfeiffer which looks pretty good.
Yes they made the Giant Batmobile.
To the others who said it didn't quite look like her, it said in the post those are rough sketches. I'm certain they will improve upon it.

This is their Jazzinc Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman to give an idea of the Julie Newmar quality. I believe Julie will have three different face sculpts.

We’ll see. The McFarlane lines have always been excellent with the notable exception of 1966 Batman. Some hits, some misses. So, I’m now skeptical of using other products as examples of what to expect.
I won’t be surprised if it turns out the same for the 1966 Batman JazzInc Julie. The close-up face sculpt looks more like Geena Davis. It would not surprise me if we got another “JuLee Newether.” Perhaps a
Ann-Margret/MichellePfeiffer/GeenaDavis/GenericCatwoman
Cosplayer/JuLeeNewether mashup.

An exciting prospect! Interested to see this develop... emphasis on the word "develop".

Sheesh, that is very unimpressive. To think, some criticized the still-unreleased "Enigma Villain" for not resembling Gorshin to their satisfaction? This makes the Riddler figure look like it was produced from a life cast. Newmar also has distinctive facial features and body, and so far, the digital prototypes leave much to be desired.

Keep in mind these are rough sketches and are not the final sketch. They will improve upon them. What's great about JazzInc Is that they listen to the customers and promptly respond to suggestions. If they think the customer is right, they will make changes. I think they are the only 1/6 action figure company that does this.BATWINGED HORNET wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 1:11 pm Sheesh, that is very unimpressive. If you join the JazzInc private Facebook group, you can see sculpt prototypes and vote on which one you want. I believe Julie will have three different face sculpts.
You can also text the owner Joost and he replies promptly within a few days. I've texted him about their 66 Batmobile and he made major changes. I'm fully confident their Julie Newmar will be very impressive and they probably will offer an autographed version.

Me also. I'm thinking they might make Batman and Robin seated figures that will go in their 1966 and 1968 Batmobiles, Batcycle, and future vehicles.Planejack777 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 8:03 pm Because I’m so hopeful that they will do a 1966 Batman and Robin figs….Ill purchase any of their 1966 figures just to show support!

On YouTube JazzInc has a new video about progress on the Julie Newmar Catwoman and the 1968 Batmobile. They have a question for buyers about a signed Julie Newmar option.
