What a way to kick off the new season! Let's roll, indeed!
Re: SEASON TWO - Green Hornet Case Files
For whatever reason I can't get into podcasts but I really enjoyed yours. The Green Hornet was such a big part of my life (and I passed that on to my kids) from the serials and the radio show to the TV Series that I'm always surprised when people don't know him.
My youngest son (28) who is the only unmarried son, was out at a family reunion of his serious girlfriend's family-- he was seated next to Grandpa (89) who wasn't engaging in much of the conversation-- he mentioned radio shows, which my son often listens to while he's working (he's a graphic designer) and the two went back and forth about the shows they love and they hit a great note on The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet. Grandpa was amazed he knew the characters, and they ended up talking for the full 90 minutes to the amazement of the rest of the family who couldn't grasp what those two were so excited about.
So the character does indeed bring people together!

Re: SEASON TWO - Green Hornet Case Files
Great interview/discussion Mary Kay Johnson. Glad she and her younger generation family members are involved and on the board of The Green Hornet.
Best quotes.. "What is your opinion of that film?"..... Mary Kay: "umm... the main character of the Hornet was not... umm... as smart as I, believed he should be"
about the Rogan film.....
Mary Kay: "People changed at the studios and people changed the whole process, and so they came it to that other kind of process and umm Seth Rogan was hired to write the script and umm wanted to be in it. So that's how that came about, I think."
Greg: "Somebody should have stopped him"
MK: "Yea"..
laughter
Great start to season 2 and some info on Greg's upcoming movie! Can't wait!
