Catwoman in Episode 119

Hi gang,

Just a query regarding the use of Catwoman in the Dr Cassandra episode of Season 3.

Is it known why they decided to use a lookalike resembling Newmar for this episode, even though Kitt had taken over the role at this point?

Was this to do with the debacle at the White House in January of 1968? I know the episode was aired in March of '68 so, assuming it was filmed in order of airdate, this will have been most likely recorded at the same time, if not after, the whole White House affair.

If the episode was recorded out of the order they were shown, I wonder how close to Kitt's episodes it was filmed and whether anything may have been said to Kitt regarding this through fear of putting her nose out of joint...

Also, just a side note, this is the closest we get to seeing Batgirl and Newmar's Catwoman together in an episode, something I would have loved to have seen play out properly.

Just a guess:

It was near the end of the season, would blow the budget with the regular actors. It’s an interesting point - I have not seen photos of Eartha Kitt’s stunt double, but we have all seen photos of Marilyn Watson (Julie’s stunt double). Does anyone know who Eartha Kitt’s stunt double was (or if she had one)?

Also, does anyone on the board know who picked up the flat versions of the terrific trio in this auction?

I always assumed it was because they had a stunt double for Julie, but probably didn't have one for Eartha.
