Penguin threatens Batman and Robin with deadly Lygerian fruit flies he conveniently keeps in a little metal tin labeled "Lygerian Fruit Flies"!
Batman and Robin manage to kill two of the flies, and when the third lands on Robin's nose Batman retrieves it with his Bat-Tweezers for safe keeping.

Well I achieved a milestone reaching Batman prop #66. I was planning on sharing another much more impressive prop that I am working on but it it has been more time consuming than I had hoped so I went ahead and posted this one. I actually have several small replica props like this that I haven't shared yet too so I couldn't wait any longer. I'm also working on a display shelf with all of my props displayed together but that also is not ready to reveal. lol Keeping busy!
The main part of this prop is not 3d printed. I used an existing tin and repainted it and made an exact duplicate of the text down to the scratches the original had. I did however 3d print the flies of all things. I found a bag of plastic flies and passed on buying them to just make my own. lol
The wings are cut out of a plastic package. I had fun painting the eyes iridescent green. I do plan on making the Bat Flyswatter but that will be another day. BTW, it takes 3 minutes each to print a fly. Who would have thought?

Ward and West were so committed to the show. This scene showed how much energy they put into their characters. Love Robin swatting at the flies so fiercely.

Appreciate the comments Larry. I'm having fun doing them but it sure puts a dent in my other past times. LOL
I'm putting together a display cabinet with them all and its become a pretty daunting task. Surprised myself with the amount of them and that keeps growing. At any time I have about 6 different ones in various stages. Still enjoying the research and design parts.
